Winter Activites...
We have had a busy month, full of fun and cool things. We went to Springerville right before Christmas. It snowed the day we left and we got to have a nice wintry drive home.

We made cookies, Kelsie's ball of dough made one little cookie by the time she was done eating it.
Kennedie is a great little baker, she took her time and did a really impressive job.

Our Christmas Morning...
I am scrambling to stick up some pictures for the grandparents this morning. We've had a great and quiet start. The girls have had a great time, and other than dealing with a grouchy 2 year old who refuses to share, and wants to tear apart everything they got, we are having a good morning.
CHRISTMAS EVE, IN THEIR JAMMIES AND READY FOR SANTA.

Congratulations Kennedie!

Kennedie received a very special honor yesterday. She was named Student of the Month. She is doing really well in school. She is kind. She is responsible. She is excited to learn.
As part of earning of Student of the Month, she got to go to Mimi's Cafe for lunch with the principal. She had a blast. She came home with her trinkets from the event, and instisted that I take a picture of them. We are very proud of her! Yeah, Kennedie!!

We've been busy...
We've been really busy since we got home from Thanksgiving in Springerville. Besides the regular work/school/Mommy/Daddy stuff we have managed to get our Christmas decorations and tree up, shop and finish up the girls, celebrate my birthday, have company twice and see Santa.
One of those sets of company were Cory and Shelby. We love them. The girls adore them. We hung out around here and then I forced them to go with us to the Town tree lighting to see Santa.
This is picture cracks me up, it's a "family" picture only I was the one who took it and it is not me next to Levi. It is Shelby... :)
He's finally getting it right!
My birthday was last week. It was a good one. Levi was working for the day, and I was all alone with Kelsie. I was trying to find a way to kill the day and my mom showed up to take me to lunch! She drove 4.5 hours here, stayed for 4 hours, and then had to drive back for a meeting. I was so happy and surprised to see her.
Levi gave me the flowers and cash. It's the perfect gift for him to give me. We aren't very good at giving or picking each other gifts. I love his solution this year. Flowers to show me he cares and cash to get what I really want. I love him.

They really do listen...
I won a bad mother award today.
I was getting Kelsie ready to head out to the grocery store and I asked her, "How are you feeling today, little bug?" She looked at me pathetically, put her little lip out, and flatly replied, "Crappy."
I know that came from me. Her father has other words for "crappy." I am lucky she spends most of her time with me. I need to stop saying crappy.
