Memory Lane...

Tonight I was in the process of burning some of our pictures to cd's to free up space and back up our pictures. I stumbled onto a disc of older pictures. It's amazing the floods of memories that can come back and the things you forget that a photograph can bring back... I've spent the last few hours messing with old pictures. Here are a few of my faves:

Kennedie and I on her blessing day. (I can't believe my baby is 7!):

Kennedie in the bath in the sink on a vacation in Mexico:

The 3 Amigos (Talon, Kennedie and Camryn around 3/4 yrs old.)

Kennedie and I (I think I like dark hair??)

Kennedie age 3.

Round 2 to come.

Kelsie Lola

Today is Kelsie's 3rd Birthday. I need to commemorate it some how. This little girl is growing and changing so fast and if I don't write a bit of her down, I am afraid I will forget it forever.

Some of Kelsie's favorite things right now: Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, Play-doh and watercolors, chocolate milk, Kit Kat's, trying to pick up Kylar, doing homework with Kennedie and trying to pedal her bike.

Kelsie is definitely my most challenging child. She was my fussiest baby, most precocious toddler and now crazy preschooler. She walked at 9 months and never looked back. She is smart. Really smart. Sometimes her observations amaze me. Kelsie thrives on routine and familiarity. She loves to go on vacation or trips to Grandma's, but cries nearly every time because she misses her bed. Kelsie is fiesty. She's not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone. She knows what she wants and cannot be persuaded otherwise. Kelsie has many nicknames around here: Bug, Buggy, Kelsers, Lola. She loves to nickname people, too. Despite all her quirks, and the days that she makes me want to pull my hair out, Kelsie has a really big heart. When she loves, she really loves, and there is nothing better than her smile. She has an amazing smile.

We love our Lola and are so glad she's a part of our family! Happy Birthday, Buggy!
